1 1/2 lbs. lean ground beef
1/4 cups dried chopped onion or 1 small onion chopped
1 tsp. salt1/2 tsp. pepper
3 tbsp. chili powder
1-540 ml canned diced tomatoes
1-398 ml tomato sauce, no salt added
1 can tomato soup
1 can green chilis
1 1/2 cups of Cavena
Fry ground beef and onion in large fry pan until browned. Drain fat. Add salt, pepper and chili powder. Mix well. Add canned ingredients and Oats and simmer for 45 minutes. Add water and adjust seasoning at end if you like it spicier or thinner. Serve in soup bowls with grated cheese and tortilla chips. Enjoy!
Serves approximately 6...depending on serving sizes.
