Seasoning Mix2 teaspoons Fine Sea Salt1 teaspoon Granulated Garlic½ teaspoon Dried Thyme Leaves½ teaspoon Chili Powder2 teaspoons Light Brown Sugar½ teaspoon Smoked PaprikaNuts & Bolts Mix100g Hickory Smoked Almonds100g Mini Pretzels or Pretzel Sticks75g Whole Grain Cheerios75g Cavena Nuda15g Canola Oil
Combine all of the seasoning mix ingredients together.Gently toss the mini pretzel sticks with about ½ of the seasoning mix while misting them with water from a clean spray bottle. Be liberal with the water to make sure the seasoning is sticking to the pretzel sticks. Spread the seasoned pretzels out in an even layer on baking sheets lined with parchment.Repeat this process with the cheerios using about ¼ of the seasoning mix.Bake the seasoned pretzels and cheerios in the oven at 250۫F on low fan for 10 minutes, or until completely dry.Heat a frying pan with the canola oil. Once hot, add the cavena nuda and toast until it turns opaque and light golden, then remove from the heat and season with the remianing ¼ of the seasoning mix.Allow everything to cool to room temperature then gently mix all the ingredients together.
