Bring large saucepan of water to boil over high heat. Season with salt; add Rice of the Prairies. Once it returns to boil, reduce heat to medium.
Place Cavena in a medium saucepan. Cover with cold water about two inches above oats. Add salt. Place saucepan on high heat and bring to a boil.
Preheat oven to 350 F. Mix together all bruschetta ingredients and taste. Adjust seasoning if needed and allow to sit during preparation of chicken.
In a sauce pot, bring the 1 1/2 cups of water to a boil, remembering to salt the water. Add your 2 cups of Cavena Oats. Cook till just tender. Your Cavena will always have a bit of a bite just like brown rice.
Preheat oven to 400 F. Line medium muffin tins with baking liners. Measure out all dry ingredients. Beat eggs, stir in milk, oil, and bananas. Add dry ingredients into the wet mixture. Mix only until ingredients are combined, batter will be slightly lumpy. Fill muffin cups about 3/4 full. Mix topping ingredients together and sprinkle the tops of muffin batter. Place in oven and bake until golden, about 20 minutes. Immediately take out of pans and allow to cool.
Heat 1 T. oil in saucepan over medium high heat. Add garlic and begin to saute. Add Cavena. Cook like popcorn until all grains have 'popped'. Season with salt and pepper. Let cool and dry out overnight. Using a coffee grinder, grind cavena into a powder.
Put the vegetable broth in a medium sized saucepan. Add the naked oats, bring to a boil, reduce heat to low, cover. Let cook for 40 minutes. Remove from heat. Cool completely.
Heat a small skillet on medium high heat. Add the pine nuts. Cook, stirring frequently, until lightly toasted. Remove pine nuts from pan and let cool.
Saute onion and celery in oil until tender in a large heavy pot. Add the rest of the ingredients except chicken and bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 40 minutes. Stir in chicken and cook until Cavena is tender. Makes 12 servings.
Thoroughly mix tomatoes, ham, onions, bell pepper, celery, Cavena, oil, ketchup, garlic, thyme and black pepper.
To prepare Cavena, place 2 cups grain in a saucepan and cover with 3 1/2 cups water. Bring to boil, then turn down heat to medium and cook until just tender, 40 to 45 minutes.Combine chicken, 1 tablespoon soy sauce and garlic in a bowl and set aside. In a large skillet stir fry broccoli and green onions in 1 tablespoon oil for 5 minutes.
